1. What Njia is

asknjia.com (“Njia”, “we”, “us”) is a transport comparison service operated by Ant vs Bear Ltd, registered in England and Wales. We help you compare bus, train, and flight options across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda.

Njia is a comparison tool, not a transport operator or travel agent. We do not sell tickets, operate vehicles, or guarantee any transport service.

2. Acceptance

By using asknjia.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. What we provide

• Route and price comparisons for buses, trains, and flights across East Africa
• An AI-powered chat assistant to help you find transport options
• Links to transport operators and booking platforms where you can purchase tickets

4. What we do NOT provide

• We do not sell tickets or process payments
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or pricing of any transport option
• We do not operate any transport service
• We are not responsible for any booking you make with a third-party operator

5. Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate and up-to-date information. However:

• Prices are indicative and may change. The final price is determined by the operator at booking.
• Schedules may change without notice. Always confirm with the operator.
• Availability shown on Njia does not guarantee a seat.
• Bus and train data is compiled from public sources and may not reflect real-time changes.
• Flight data is provided via the Duffel API and subject to airline availability.

We accept no liability for losses arising from inaccurate or outdated information.

6. Third-party links and bookings

When you click through to a transport operator's website or booking platform, you leave Njia. Your interaction with that third party is governed by their own terms and privacy policy. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for third-party websites or your transactions with them.

7. Affiliate relationships

Njia may earn commission from transport operators and booking platforms when you click through from our site and make a purchase. This does not affect the prices you pay or the order in which results are displayed. We are committed to showing you the best options regardless of affiliate status.

8. AI chat assistant

Our chat assistant uses artificial intelligence. You should be aware that:

• The assistant may occasionally provide incorrect or outdated information
• It is not a substitute for checking directly with transport operators
• Conversations may be reviewed to improve the service
• The assistant cannot make bookings on your behalf

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Njia for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, copy, or systematically download content from the site
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the site's operation
• Use automated tools to access the site at excessive rates
• Impersonate another person in chat conversations

10. Intellectual property

The Njia name, logo, design, and original content are owned by Ant vs Bear Ltd. Transport operator names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Images sourced from Pexels are used under their licence.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Njia is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $100
• We are not liable for losses from reliance on information displayed, or from transactions with operators

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The updated version will be posted here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
